So anyways, Jacob was playing with his

babysitter Chloe that afternoon. He was

cruising around the table and needless to say

he slipped and bumped his head on the side of the table.

Thus, the gigantic shiner. He was fine-- just mostly scared.

Chloe was horrified and I was amazed that that the bump was just

magnifying in size every second.

Oh, I forgot to mention that I had intentions of taking him to a

professional photographer for his one-year-old pictures.

That had to be postponedNothing like a sweet peach to make

June 28, 2009We have been really busy having lots of fun despite the fact that it rained all the time in June. Although judging by the pics- we did have a few nice days.

HAPPY FIRST BIRTHDAY!!!

Jacob was born on a Wednesday, June 18th, 2008 at 6:45 p.m. He is one year old today!!! We've had an advenureous day. We went to the Atrium Mall to an indoor playground. Then we've met Melissa and Max, as well as, Stephanie and Jack at the Cheescake factory for lunch. Jacob fell asleep in the car on the way home. He was still tired when we arrived home so we both laied down and Jacob slept for 2 hrs. Brithday Slumber. Then we hung out with nanny and Autie Karen. Grandma came over to play and at six forty five we sung Happy Birthday.

It is absolutely amazing that we have a son!!!!

Birthday Week!

Last week was the official start of Jacob's Birthday month and today was the official start of his Birthday week. What is a birthday week? Well, it consists of lots of advenures and fun! Sunday we went to Matthiew's 1st Birthday Party and the kids had a blast. Today we went to the Kids Fun Stop and Jacob was thrilled. He loved to ride and push every possible car, motocycle, and tricycle that was available. He went down the slide and through the tunnel. After a 15 min afternoon nap in the car (yup...that's it) we went to see Grandpa. One of the most memorable moments was when Jacob walked from the living room to the kitchen all by himself!!! He did not fall at all! We were just amazed.

Mattapoisett

Day after Jacob's Baptism/Birthday party...we went to Mattapoisett to spent time with Auntie Adele, Uncle Justin (thank you so much for having us in your home!), Grandpa Scott, Great Grammy Alice, Godfather James, Auntie Kristin, and Cousin Olivia.

Jacob's Baptism- JUNE 7

We were so blessed to have a beautiful day on Sunday for Jacob's Christening. We were even more blessed to have our family and friends join us in this celebration, as well as, Jacob's upcomming 1st Birthday. We've had a wonderful time. Jacob was so good throughout the ceremony and had so much fun at the reception.
